Our philosophy
What is internet, if not the sharing of data. Our business is making this data available for sharing in the most user-friendly way.
We stay up-to-date with new technologies through constant learning. To ensure we keep supplying our customers with the most recent developments, we take time out of our schedule to master the latest techniques. This means that a part of the week we will be burning our brain-calories by creating interesting, engaging new stuff, perfecting skills to use in future projects.
Quality is what counts in our book, we like to work with high standards. For you this means a good site, for us this means taking pride in what we do. To deliver this quality we each have our own expertise encompassing design, usability and deployment.
We are in this business because we are passionate about Internet. By making use of our services you will have a team of people who love what they do and take pride doing it. We believe that this shines through in everything we create.

How we work
-
1 Discovery
The first step is to determine the aim of your website. Is it to display your companies information, to enhance your internal infrastructure or a application to facilitate your ideas? It is important that we understand your business and your needs before we start designing or building. This is also the time to provide us with all relevant content.
-
2 Outlining the structure
When we gathered all the information we need, we can decide what the best way is to present it. We will create a flow-chart of the website to communicate cleary what a visitor of your website will see and be able to do. With the help of this chart we will be able to determine the layout and navigation of your website.
-
3 Design
Once we know the purpose, content, structure and layout we can start thinking about how you want the website to look. We will ask you to fill in a design questionnaire about what you like and dislike in terms of aesthetics. With the help of this questionnaire and the expertise of our designer we will create a mockup of the website.
-
4 Front-End Development
We will convert the approved design into (X)HTML & CSS, using jQuery where necessary. The (X)HTML will be according to the standards of the W3C, meaning it will be accessible for users with a disability and easy to index for search machines like Google.
To improve usability and make the site work like you would expect from a desktop application we will make use of jQuery. This framework will enable us to do cool stuff like partial refreshes of the website, transition effects, and most important, better interactivity with your data.
-
5 Back-End Development
After finishing the front-end (design) of the website, we will call in our programmers for the back-end. Normally the backend consists of code which talks with the database for retrieval of data. We prefer to use PostgreSQL as our database and Python for our coding. When things get really heavy, we call in the big gun, Haskell.
The code that manages your website will be tested automatically during development. This methodology makes sure that the quality of the back-end is of the highest standards.
All the data will be manageable through a Content Management System. This enables you to add, update and delete your data through a secured web interface.
-
6 Testing
The final stage. An exciting time for both of us. A website viewed in Firefox might not look and work the same as in Internet Explorer. That is why we make sure in this stage we test your website to make it compatible with Internet Explorer 7 and 8, Firefox, Safari and Google Chrome.
After we have tested the site across browsers it's time for you to have a spin with it. We will put the working site on a secured part of our server. This way you can interact with the real deal and see how the site will work and feel when it goes online.
After your review we will work hard to finish the project to everyones satisfaction. The finished site will be deployed on a server that we have specially configured for your needs. Within no-time we will be toasting to the launch of your new website together.
