Next month we will launch two websites that we build pro bono; leidsfilmfestival.nl and marathon-leiden.nl. For a company our size this was a major investment. So the question raised why would you do this as a company.

How do you keep your work challenging and fun? . With this in mind we thought of probably the most useless app ever. It's build in 1 day and we are proud to present to you: "Pomperlist".

So how is business going? That is the question that we often get. And to be honest we don't know what to answer simply just because we don't know what is normal for a start-up. But for sure is that we can still pay the rent and the most important thing is that we still have a lot of fun.

I got my Snow Leopard in the mail lately and I decided to install it after a clean format. This gave me the opportunity to start using the new recommended Django development setup with PIP, Virtualenv and Virtualenvwrapper. The logo of Bread & Pepper took, to be honest, quite a long time to design. Mostly because I was my own client and there was no real deadline. Although I think that designing things for yourself is a tedious process, I'm quite pleased with the result.
